Jeffrey Wittliff is extremely attentive to his cases and believes in thorough preparation and the value of regular client communication. Behind the scenes, he has an extensive background in research related to all areas of family law, propounding discovery when necessary, and negotiation to settle cases with opposing parties. He believes in limiting legal fees and costs wherever possible and will do the same for you and your case.
In his free time, he enjoys training mixed martial arts, writing reviews as an amateur film critic, and hiking local trails.
Professional and Educational Background
Jeffrey Wittliff graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with bachelor’s degrees in both Economics and Government before attending California Western School of Law, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, near the top of his class.
While maintaining his top grades, he completed five separate internships in law school at many prestigious San Diego County law firms, including a federal clerkship and working under several local Certified Family Law Specialists. He also mastered family law from an academic stance, earning the highest grade offered in his Family Law class.
Jeffrey joined Griffith, Young, & Lass in September 2016, and has experience representing clients in many different situations, including divorce and paternity actions, child custody, child support, spousal support, move-away trials, property and asset division, and domestic violence restraining orders.
